Indirect Purchasing Category Specialist

Responsabilities:

• Responsible for developing and implementing concepts including a defined Supplier Panel to secure the success of the relevant location, with a mainly local scope.
• Where applicable, it contributes to the development, implementation and executing of category strategies in a local/regional environment.
• Within the defined area it is using global processes, standards and tools and supports the improvement of these. It achieves performance targets.
• Develops, aligns and executes concepts for less complex tasks in a defined area of responsibility in a mainly regional / local environment.
• Handles all relevant purchasing processes (e.g. supplier selection, RFQ, price comparison, negotiation and contracting, SDM) in its defined area of responsibility.
• Ensures achievement of targets.
• Uses processes, tools and methods (e.g. SC, SDM, CBD)
• Aligns with internal stakeholders with regions, functions and business units
