Webasto is looking for:

RESPONSABILITIES:

• Implementing strategies for negotiating category purchase agreements based on in-depth knowledge of foreign and domestic markets for optimum pricing and terms
• Purchasing categories in accordance with approved buying programs, using trade judgment in implementation and/or the established procurement policy
• Ensuring the availability of materials in the supply chain as scheduled and maintaining the inventory at minimum acceptable levels
• Monitors inventory requests, production schedules and purchase requisitions to coordinate purchasing activities for current/anticipated demand of materials and services 
• Identifies and selects suppliers that meet the organization’s standards of price, quality and delivery
• Handles relevant purchasing processes (within defined category/program/etc.) in a less complex, mainly moderate/regional environment
• Develops, coordinates and implements the purchasing strategy within a less complex, moderate/regional category/program
• Sets-up and develops a strategic supplier base within the defined category/program
• Coordinates and executes sourcing processes for category/program (supplier selection, RFQ, negotiation, source decision matrix, sourcing committee)
• Conducts contract negotiations with suppliers with rather moderate business volume
• Reviews consistently, supports quality and competitiveness of suppliers and develops corrective actions if needed
• Coordinates and executes sourcing processes for category (support and steer supplier selection; negotiation; sourcing committee)
